Escape to the enchanting Nab Cottage on the shores of Rydal Water for a three-day yoga, walking, and mindfulness retreat in the heart of the Lake District. Set amidst stunning views of the lake and mountains, this retreat is designed to help you relax, restore, and reconnect with yourself and nature.
There are two dates available for this retreat, in the summer from June 20th – 22nd and in the early Autumn from October 10th – 12th.
Nab Cottage is a historic retreat space brimming with charm and tranquility. Surrounded by gardens, walking trails, and stunning lake views, it offers a peaceful haven for relaxation. Originally built in the 16th century, Nab Cottage has a rich history and a warm, inviting atmosphere, with cosy communal areas, a wood-burning stove, and thoughtfully designed rooms that ensure comfort and peace.
Retreat Highlights:
Daily Yoga & Meditation: Start and end each day with yoga and mindfulness sessions suitable for all levels, designed to help you release tension and regain inner balance.
Walking Trips: Explore the stunning surroundings of Rydal Water and the Lake District with two guided walks. One to the beautiful Rydal caves nearby and another to the village of Grasmere and an optional extended walk to Easedale Tarn.
Seasonal Vegetarian Meals: Enjoy nourishing, wholesome meals prepared with care, inspired by seasonal produce, and catering to all dietary needs.
Time for Reflection: Relax in the cosy, inviting spaces of Nab Cottage or take peaceful moments in the beautiful gardens, woodlands and waterfall nearby.
Connection with Nature: Experience the rejuvenating power of nature as you walk among the hills, trees, and waters of the Lake District, fostering a sense of connection and clarity.
Sleep Workshop: Discover how you can use mindfulness and yoga nidra to sleep better with Siôn’s signature workshop. You’ll gain actionable steps you can take in your life to achieve deep and restful sleep.
Yoga Nidra: Learn about how yoga nidra can promote deep and restful sleep with regular evening yoga nidra sessions throughout the retreat.

Dates: Choose between:
- 20th-22nd June 2025 – Immerse yourself in the vibrant energy of summer amidst lush greenery.
- 10th-12th October 2025 – Embrace the autumnal hues and crisp air as you settle into the season of reflection.
- Location: Nab Cottage, Rydal Water, Lake District.
- Accommodation: Shared or private rooms available, all offering comfort and views of the surrounding beauty.
- Optional extras: Enjoy a Relaxing and rejuvenating Traditional oil massage, Reiki, Shiatsu or Reflexology session during your stay, unwind in a Hot tub with lake views or spend some time in the Wood fired sauna in the garden.
Please bring your own yoga mats and props, some can be provided on request. Yoga sessions are suitable for all levels. Beginners are very welcome.
Booking Information:
Come on your own, with friends or family. There are Single and Shared rooms available.
Prices per person
Standard Rooms: Tickets are £435 for 2 nights. For a shared room (twin/double) for two people.
Single Rooms: (with ensuite) Tickets are £505 for 2 nights.
Single Rooms: (with shared bathroom) Tickets are £485 for 2 nights
Single occupancy of twin/double rooms – Tickets are £555 for 2 nights
The rooms are all comfortable, warm and cosy and complement the surroundings and traditional character of the Cottage. They have bed linen, towels, hospitality trays and free wifi.
Secure your spot with a £150 non-refundable deposit. These retreats sell out soon so early booking is recommended. Flexible payment options are available, and the balance is due by 25th April, 2025 for the June retreat, and 15th August, 2025 for the October retreat.

Cancellations less than three months before the retreat arrival date are not entitled to a refund.
Cancellations between three and five months before the retreat arrival date are entitled to a 25% refund, minus the deposit.
Cancellations more than five months before the retreat arrival date are entitled to a full refund, minus the deposit.
Yoga sessions are suitable for all levels. Beginners are very welcome.
